Meetings & Support

PFLAG Austin support meetings are free, confidential, and open to everyone — LGBTQ+ people of any age, parents and caregivers, partners, siblings, and friends. There’s no fee, no registration, and no pressure to speak. Come to listen, come to share, come just to be in a room full of people who understand.

What to expect

We open with a warm welcome, agree on our shared commitment to confidentiality, and then make space for whatever you bring — questions, celebrations, hard days, or quiet company. Meetings are led by an experienced facilitator, and most of the time is spent sharing. What’s said in the meeting stays in the meeting. We especially welcome partners of transgender and gender-diverse loved ones. And while many groups meet in churches, PFLAG Austin is agnostic about religion: we don’t endorse or discuss it in our groups.
