Virtual Support Groups on Zoom
Our meetings are free. PFLAG Austin staff are all volunteers who care about helping people. Your donations are greatly appreciated to help us to continue to support those who are often in desperate need. Please consider making a donation at our MEMBERSHIP or DONATE pages in the menu.
Our virtual support groups take place online, using Zoom Web conferencing. You will have to register for an free account on zoom.us. The link to access the meeting will be visible in the event after you RSVP’ed. You will see the Zoom meeting link after you RSVP’ed on our PFLAG Austin meetup.com events page.
If you will be using Zoom for the first time, when you click on the meeting link, the Zoom app will be downloaded and installed on your computer or your phone. Please allow for 15 minutes beforehand for the installation and for any set-up that you might want to do to your Zoom user profile.
Most of the meeting time is spent sharing where people take turns discussing issues or asking questions and then allowing others to respond.
PFLAG Austin leader moderators strive to meet the needs of all attendees.
We have a confidentiality policy: What is said in the meeting stays in the meeting.
Average attendance of all virtual meetings is 11. Ages range from late teens to senior citizen.

Drive to the end of Grover Ave, then turn right to park. Enter the building through the courtyard entrance. Once inside, follow the PFLAG signs to the classroom (located in the southwest part of the building).
